Although SDH has been hugely successful, and we have learned a huge amount from it, we have now reached the point where supply is end of life. Fortunately, we now have technologies that deliver equal or better performance at a much lower cost. However, migrating legacy SDH services onto these new technologies can prove to be extremely expensive.
